Francesco Lorenzetti is a freelance photographer currently based in Italy who specialises in travel photography and social documentary from around the world. He began his artistic carrer as set designer after graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. He discovered his passion for photography in 1995 during a study bursary in Spain. Francesco has spent the last ten years photographing places and people in many countries and his travel file is growing. He use a 35 mm camera to take slides or film, in colour and B/W. In 2005 he published the book “Tuko Pamoja” (“All together”) a photo book in English and Italian featuring photos taken by a group of 14-16 years olds attending St. John’s School in Korogocho, one of the most violent slums in Nairobi (Kenya), which has become a symbol of slums all over the world.He is available for photo assignmens worlwide.
